We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Asset & Deployment Technician to support our IT operations team in San Jose, CA. This individual will be responsible for managing inventory, imaging and configuring laptops, preparing new hire equipment kits, and coordinating the shipment and distribution of IT hardware to employees and remote office locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on IT support experience who enjoys working with hardware, logistics, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain inventory of laptops, peripherals, and other IT assets.
• Image, configure, and deploy Windows and/or Mac laptops for new hires and existing employees.
• Assemble and package new hire kits, ensuring all required equipment and accessories are included.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and tracking of IT equipment to employees and other company locations.
• Process hardware returns, replacements, and equipment refreshes.
• Maintain accurate asset records and inventory documentation within asset management systems.
• Perform quality checks to ensure devices are properly configured before deployment.
• Assist with equipment lifecycle management, including asset tagging, auditing, and disposal processes.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and support for hardware-related issues.
• Collaborate with IT team members to support onboarding, offboarding, and office technology initiatives.
