Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in Automation Testing and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation, QA processes, framework development, and process optimization across enterprise applications. Experience in transportation or railroad-related applications such as PTC, CAD, Trip Optimizer, or LEADER will be considered an added advantage but is not mandatory. This role requires a strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies, CI/CD integration, and RPA workflow validation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end QA activities across enterprise and automation-driven applications • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases • Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, System, and UAT testing • Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and related technologies • Validate and test RPA workflows using UiPath / Automation Anywhere / Blue Prism, ensuring: o Bot accuracy and reliability o End-to-end business process validation o Exception handling and recovery scenario testing • Drive test automation initiatives, CI/CD integration, and QA process optimization • Manage defect lifecycle using Jira and other test management tools • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments • Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance • Generate and present test metrics, dashboards, and quality reports to stakeholders • Support deployment validation, release testing, and production readiness activities • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for automation and testing efficiency • Exposure to safety-critical or domain-specific systems such as railroad applications is a plus

Required Skills & Qualifications - Experience in Software Testing, Automation Testing, and/or RPA Testing • Strong hands-on experience in: o Manual & Automation Testing o Selenium WebDriver o TestNG / Cucumber / BDD frameworks • Experience in RPA testing and workflow validation using: o UiPath o Automation Anywhere o Blue Prism • Strong understanding of: o Functional, Integration, Regression, System, and UAT testing o STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies • Experience with: o Automation framework development (POM, Data-Driven, Hybrid Frameworks) o API Testing using Postman or similar tools • Hands-on experience with: o Jira o Jenkins o Git/GitHub o Maven • Exposure to: o CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices o Defect tracking and test management processes • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to railroad or transportation domain applications such as: o PTC (Positive Train Control) o CAD o Trip Optimizer o LEADER systems • Experience working in enterprise or large-scale application environments • Exposure to test data management and environment setup • Knowledge of API automation and integration testing • Understanding of security testing concepts is an added advantage
