Job Title: Python Developer (Contract – Potential CTH)
Position Type: Contract (6–12 months with potential conversion)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch; flexibility negotiable)
Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite with hybrid flexibility (1–2 days/week negotiable)
Hourly Bill Rate: Up to $80/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a Python Developer Contractor to support application and prototype development efforts focused on improving operational efficiency and reducing engineering workload. This role will contribute across the full development lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, and testing of Python-based solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on Python development experience, the ability to work independently, and comfort collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Python-based applications and prototypes to support business and engineering initiatives
Participate in full lifecycle development including design, coding, testing, and documentation
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
Design and execute test cases; validate and report results
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure stable application performance
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and user guides
Support ongoing enhancements, deployment, and optimization efforts
Required Qualifications
3+ years of Python development experience
Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and best practices
Experience with data handling and processing (preferred)
Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English only required)
Ability to start immediately or on short notice
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Python application development
Experience with version control (Git), testing, and code review practices
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML
Ability to build scalable, maintainable solutions
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI)
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Database experience (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
Experience with AI/ML frameworks or LLM-based development
Familiarity with modern development tools (e.g., Cursor, AI-assisted coding tools)
Additional Details
Contract role with potential for full-time conversion after 6–12 months
Holiday schedule will align with internal company schedule
