Seeking experienced Epic Analysts to support a large-scale Epic implementation across multiple applications and specialty areas. This role is ideal for professionals with strong Epic build, configuration, and optimization experience within their certified application.
The Epic Analyst will partner with operational, clinical, and technical teams to support the design, build, testing, validation, and go-live readiness of Epic solutions. Candidates must have a solid understanding of workflow analysis, system configuration, and end-user support within their Epic application area.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, test, and maintain Epic application functionality within assigned module(s)
- Analyze current-state and future-state workflows in collaboration with operational and clinical stakeholders
- Translate business and clinical requirements into effective Epic solutions
- Support integrated testing, issue resolution, and validation of application changes
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing support during implementation and optimization phases
- Participate in build reviews, workflow discussions, and cross-functional project meetings
- Prepare documentation related to system design, build decisions, testing, and change management
- Support go-live planning, end-user readiness, and post-go-live stabilization efforts
- Ensure application build aligns with Epic best practices, organizational standards, and project timelines
- Work closely with other Epic teams to ensure proper integration across applications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Epic Analyst
- Hands-on Epic build experience within the certified application/module
- Current Epic certification in at least one of the modules listed below
- Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, optimizations, or major enhancement initiatives
- Strong understanding of workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and support
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work onsite in the New York City Metro area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large health system implementations
- Go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation support experience
- Experience working in complex, integrated Epic environments
- Additional Epic certifications are a plus
