Job Description:

The Marketing Program Manager sits within the Brand, Creative and Digital Marketing project management team.  As part of this team, this role is on the front lines of receiving, vetting and managing requests via Jira as well as being a brand ambassador for all creative that flows through the team.

 

Job responsibilities:

Jira ticket intake and review

Daily management of Jira tickets sent to the Brand, Creative and Digital Marketing (BCDM) team; Ensure all relevant project details are included Resource allocation and planning Working with the leadership team, advises on the coordination of outside agencies to supplement department resources; Communicates with requesters at any or all project stages as needed, including negotiations to push out delivery dates, modifications of scope or utilization of self-service tools or outside agencies when appropriate; Reporting on project intake statistics when needed Project assignment and project management Once approved, assigns approved projects to appropriate team member who takes project through production and delivery; Depending on project scope or team bandwidth, will manage, track and deliver certain projects directly Process Education and socialization:

Build and maintain knowledge of past and current project scopes, requesters’ requirements, and brand guidelines to facilitate future requests Optimization of intake process via Jira data hygiene and PM processes and procedures; Training and reinforcement of our intake process throughout the organization as needed

 

Skills:

Superior organizational skills, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects of varying size and meet deadlines; Solid understanding of project management concepts including project deliverables, milestones and scope to complete requests accurately and on time; Ability to act intuitively, while following established guidelines and processes; Able to juggle multiple competing priorities; Able to pick up on team and organizational dynamics and adapt approaches based on the situation; Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on negotiation and working with all levels throughout the organization; A team player attitude, and a flexibility and willingness to step in and support the PM team when bandwidth is tight.

 

Education and experience:

5+ years of marketing production project management experience

Familiarity with specifications and requirements for assets like digital ads, PDF creation, event/trade show booths preferred

Experience with Jira required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

Demonstrated competency using technology including but not limited to Google Docs, Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and social marketing tools.
