Manages and implements global corporate volunteer program to encourage employee engagement, community involvement and enhances the impact of The Clorox Company in its communities.  Manages global volunteer budget, oversees program/project development, promotion, implementation, communication and evaluation. Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.  As needed, provides general support to Community Relations Department.  The Volunteer Manager's work will position The Clorox Company as a premier corporate citizen and leader in community involvement.
Volunteer Management
• Manages volunteer program and budget; Oversees program/project development, promotion, implementation, communication and evaluation.
• Manages environmental justice signature volunteer program with partners in Oakland, Atlanta and Durham (Healthy Parks Project)
• Team member supporting IDEAcon, a weeklong (and beyond) Clorox inclusion, diversity, equity, allyship (IDEA) take over with programming, events, and customized content. To help educate, build culture and connection and the opportunity to unveil company's new IDEA strategy.
• Manages Clorox major volunteer programs (e.g. Marcus Foster Education Foundation, department volunteer programs) and partners with leads on other established volunteer programs (Legal pro bono, Science Education, Employee Resource Groups) and one-off volunteer projects.
• Serves as the Company/Foundation's representative at community organization meetings, events, committees and on boards and/or commissions concerned with The Clorox Company Foundation's volunteer efforts.
• Reviews, manages, responds to volunteer requests from nonprofit organizations and employees.
• Assists teammates throughout the enterprise with tracking of volunteer hours, activities, and board membership
• Partners with GIFT (workplace giving) ambassador lead and employee resource groups (ERGs) on employee engagement
Community Relations Program Support
• Assists in the delivery of key community relations programs and on projects as needed by Community Relations Department.
• Provides stories/content for community relations website/CloroxHub and other internal/external communication vehicles.
• Integrates recognition into volunteer programs to elevate The Clorox Company brand.


Compensation: 60-75/hourly
