Lead the demand plan function in Americas, to include facilitating the bi-weekly demand planning review meeting with sales team, publishing Product Sale Inventory (PSI) report and tracking/improving forecast performance, etc.  In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities, the position will work with other Global Supply Chain team in China on special projects to improve the overall inventory control performance.
2) Job responsibilities
• Perform demand planning pre-work such as analyzing historic forecast performance, soliciting input from sales / GTM team and managing product lifecycle considerations
• Facilitate bi-weekly demand planning review meeting with sales / GTM team to review forecast performance, known events and finalize the demand plans
• Identify demand forecast risks and develop effective mitigation plans
• Publish bi-weekly PSI report
• Track product cycle considerations (end-of-life and new product introduction) to make sure the forecast accurately reflects impacts of product cycle
• Identify, report and manage any significant variances between forecasted sales and the organization's budgets and business plans
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory level
• Increase visibility and accountability into key forecast accuracy metrics, identify sources of error and develop/execute mitigation plans
• Other responsibilities as assigned

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, preferably in Consumer Electronics
• Build and maintain effective communication and working relationships while working cross-functionally with an engaging work style

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
Preferred requirements:
• Experience leading an ongoing Sales & Operations Planning process
• Demonstrated proficiency utilizing ERP / SAP system


Compensation: 80,000-95,000 salary
