Who we're looking for

Client is looking for a passionate, self-motivated, and highly organized Project Manager To fill a temporary position at its Mississippi vehicle production plant

Reporting to the Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate IT related projects from start to finish utilizing all stakeholders to ensure on time completion.

 

What you'll be doing

Essential responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver projects of all sizes with minimal direction using both traditional and Agile (Scrum) methods and artifacts
  • Cross functional coordination: lead multiple stakeholders (including various Toyota functions, suppliers, and North American headquarters) through project activities to achieve intended goal
  • Executive summary and escalation: clear and concise visualization of project condition, risk and outlook.
  • Problem solving, organize working groups to gather information, utilize critical thinking, prepare insights and recommendations for decisions.
  • Process standardization: support department in development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures; propose and implement process improvements.

 

Typical activities:

  • Lead Implementation of both custom-developed and 3rd party solutions and integrations
  • Effectively work with all levels of the organization across both internal and external partners
  • Gain a clear understanding of IT & business needs, translate these into actionable user stories and prioritize with the business and IT stakeholders
  • Schedule and milestone coordination, creation and tracking.
  • Understanding and visualization of projects status, with a focus on potential risks.
  • Performing activities supporting other functions such as Manufacturing and/or Design (eg: accessory installation study, concern parts follow up).
  • Track, manage and resolve impediments

 

Technical work:

  • Coordination and processing of Request for Change (RFC) Instructions: understand and communicate technical information, coordinate implementation with team (manufacturing/supplier/quality), process information in appropriate systems.
  • Parts list set up, maintenance and technical information troubleshooting in appropriate systems.
  • Emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.
  • Hands on verification of IIS , Web page, application & supporting  Databases as needed


  • Requirements:

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's degree or higher (business or engineering) or equivalent work experience.
    • Professional experience coordinating complex cross-functional projects with demonstrated ability to achieve Goals.
    • Self-driven, independent work experience effectively managing multiple short and long-term tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to deliver complex information clearly and concisely across cultures and organizational boundaries.
    • Critical thinking, identifying risks/gaps, generating potential solutions and evaluating impact.
    • Fluent usage of MS Office: Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft TEAMS, SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel (formulas, charts/graphs), and PPT (building presentations).
    • Knowledge of VMWare, Windows, Remote Desktop, Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019) Microsoft SQL Server, and IIS information.


    Added bonus if you have:

    • Experience in manufacturing planning and operations, preferably in automotive industry.
    • Work experience at a Toyota Manufacturing facility
    • Problem solving and process improvement experience and/or training.
    • Power BI experience.
    • Advanced Excel (macros, V-look-up, pivot tables).
    • Certifications (PMP, Lean Sigma, Scrum Master).
