Need a Business Analyst.
Experience with Jira, Agile.
Required experience: Jira, Scrum, and User Stories.
BA to detail out user stories; test cases definition.
As a Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work and hone your skills in Agile whilst working in the Rail Industry. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals in different regions and continents all working toward the same goal, to move trains. This is a very exciting area, one that will give you the opportunity to wear many hats and build experience towards a variety of positions within the Agile Framework. An applicant would be expected to communicate daily with clients at a high level, ensuring that expectations are being met, and would be expected to be a natural problem solver. An applicant would also need to have experience with running SCRUM/Kanban and leading a team. Experience using Jira or similar backlog management is also strongly recommended.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Facilitate conversations between various levels of stakeholders
Develop reports utilizing data from applications
Analyze and document system processes and design changes to the system
Uses critical thinking to implement database solutions in a client-facing role
Analyzes and documents client's business requirements and processes
Leading a team to complete development whilst meeting deadlines and deliverable milestones
Collaborate with SMEs and PMO; formulates recommendations to improve and support business activities.
Executes systems tests from existing test plans. Communicates results to client stakeholders.
Manage and address current backlog items within the JIRA system
Utilize Scrum and Kanban to track progress of development against timelines and deliverables
Develop and refine Stories and Acceptance Criteria from conception to launch
Develop and refine Process Flows
Provide support to the IT applications by serving as a liaison between business and developers
