Essential Functions:
- Design, develop, and create test documentation for computer systems or programs based on business, client, and functional requirements
- Understanding and ability to traverse the testing life cycle (TLC)
- Strong understanding of backend computer system infrastructure and program design
- Troubleshoot technical systems or software issues experienced during testing and exercise independent judgment and discretion to determine strong solutions
- Create, analyze, manage, and triage system or software defects
- Identify data requirements for a computer system or software testing
- Demonstrated skill in computer system and software testing requirements
- Ability to execute manual and automated test cases
- Manage client SIMs for system and software testing purposes
- Management of client devices for testing purposes
- Accurately archive all test documentation on Denali and client SharePoint sites
- Proficient use of JIRA, Rally, and/or Quality Center for test case management, creation, and execution
- Monitor testing progress, provide hourly, daily, and weekly status reporting, and escalate issues as needed
- Ensure reporting and testing meets established client processes and procedures
- Communicate and interact with all levels of staff to coordinate project deliverables, including leading meetings and ensuring timely delivery of status reports
- Managing, mentoring, and training assigned QA Testers
- Ability to perform international or domestic roaming testing
- Ability to work nights or weekends to meet client or project requirements
- Strong attention to detail, multi-tasker, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Conduct lessons learned post-deployment
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by QA Manager
Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or general equivalent
- QA Test Lead - 1-5 years of lead experience
- 5+ years of test and/or QA experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Possess a high degree of theoretical knowledge and understanding of computer systems, programming, and software testing
- ITQSB Qualified
- Demonstrated experience with client-server systems and understanding of technical issues that may arise in testing environments
- Strong understanding of common Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM
- Assess and articulate testing needs for applications/projects quickly and clearly
- Ability to work independently and make sound discretionary judgments
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems quickly and creatively
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, the role requires a proven ability to read and understand test requirements and list-out the logical testing path

- Ability to collaborate with team members and client to meet project deadlines and milestones
