DESCRIPTION:

Software engineers typically do the following:

Analyze users' needs and then design, test, and develop software to meet those needs. Recommend software upgrades for customers' existing programs and systems. Design each piece of an application or system and plan how the pieces will work together.

At least 5 years in software development - engineering

Computer and/or Technical Skills:

Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows.
Knowledge of databases like MS-SQL.
Strong knowledge in fundamental JAVA programming and Object Oriented programming models.
Good communication and team player.

Skills/Experience/Education

Mandatory - Required skills:

Java 7 and above
Spring framework version 4 or above, Spring Boot with Hibernate / JPA / Activiti / JBPM / Oracle and MS SQL database / SOAP web-services / HTTP RESTful web services / WildFly / Maven build process / JUnit
Well-spoken and written business communication in English.

Desired Skills

Preferred additional skills:

Javascript SVN Git
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
Certifications/Licenses: Development-related certification/s from Microsoft, Sun, Oracle a plus.
Mathematical Skills: College-level skill is required.
Reasoning Skills: Very good reasoning, problem solving, and innovation skills required.
Computer/Tech. Skills: Advanced knowledge and ability to use the software required, specifically Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, etc.), Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, etc.
