Solutions Advisor
The Solutions Advisor for BackOffice is a strategic, cross-functional team leader, focused on "change the business" initiatives and providing the guidance and direction needed to bridge the strategic plan of a business and the actual day-to-day function of the business. The Advisor looks across the Finance business landscape holistically and in context of the enterprise to ensure ideation, growth, scalability and continuity in business roadmaps and solutioning. This is accomplished by advising and guiding various business stakeholders and program/project teams, aligning objectives to overall enterprise strategy and goals. The Advisor brings SAP subject matter expertise and industry best practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum 7 years of experience in and/or working with Finance line of business / financial accounting
Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP, SAP S4/HANA functional knowledge required
SAP consulting experience strongly preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing direction and definition of solutions to effectively support business strategy, while guiding the work of solutions analyst(s)
Leads multiple strategic/transformation initiatives and serves as a trusted advisor
Advises business leaders/stakeholders across the organization on future state
Provides subject matter expertise and industry best practices
Conducts presentations of proposals/solutions to all levels of the organization
Collaborates
o with Finance/Business Partners, Business Solutions Advisors and Analysts, as well as IT to effectively articulate and communicate the roadmap of the business capabilities needed to achieve the vision while identifying integration points and maintaining business continuity
o with Enterprise Advisors and technical team members to support next generation platforms
o with Enterprise Governance members to launch initiatives that align with company's strategic imperatives
Creates / proposes
o Business strategies and/or associated processes to improve value add and efficiency
o Business roadmaps
o Business architecture
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion
Performs other duties as assigned
