Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Tri – State Area - (Hybrid - remote and on-site travel required)
Seeking a motivated, self-driven Project Manager to support a large-scale healthcare IT deployment across Long Island and New York City. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working both independently and collaboratively, and is comfortable managing projects that require both strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
This is a hybrid position requiring regular on-site presence. Candidates must be local to the Tri-State area and have access to a personal vehicle for travel between sites.
What You’ll Do
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery by leading planning, coordination, and on-the-ground execution efforts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct site assessments across multiple locations to evaluate infrastructure and operational needs
- Partner with IT leadership to define network and technical requirements
- Analyze current workflows and recommend process improvements and standardization
- Support training strategy development and help identify user education needs
- Participate in technical design discussions and provide project insights
- Serve as the on-site lead during go-live events, ensuring seamless execution
- Coordinate and manage command center operations during deployments
- Oversee equipment procurement, vendor management, and invoicing processes
- Lead project execution to ensure delivery on time and within budget
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Track progress, manage timelines, and provide regular status reporting
- Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies
- Foster strong collaboration across teams to ensure project success
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience (healthcare IT strongly preferred)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to travel throughout the Tri-State area
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
- Must be locally based and able to work both remotely and on-site
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with Revenue Cycle processes
