The Business Intelligence Analyst / Application Developer designs, builds, maintains, and enhances business applications and their supporting data integrations to enable effective decision support.

This role focuses on developing data-driven applications, integrating multiple data sources, and continuously improving existing solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Experience with PowerApps or similar low-code platforms is preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, maintain, and enhance business applications that support reporting, analytics, and decision-making

Develop and manage integrations between applications, data sources, and supporting databases

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions

Analyze existing applications and recommend new features, enhancements, or expansions to improve usability and performance

Develop data models, queries, and connections that ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful insights

Ensure applications follow best practices for data quality, security, and performance

Troubleshoot application, data, and integration issues and provide timely resolution

Document application designs, integrations, and enhancement recommendations

Support testing, deployment, and ongoing user adoption of developed solutions

 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience designing and developing business applications and data-driven solutions

Experience working with databases and data integration technologies

Strong understanding of business intelligence, reporting, and decision-support concepts

Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft PowerApps, Power Platform, or similar low-code/no-code development tools

Experience integrating multiple data sources (e.g., SQL databases, cloud data sources, APIs)

Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

Experience supporting enterprise or departmental applications used for operational or strategic decision-making
