Job Title: Java DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Java DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing codebases, supporting development workflows, and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications. This role requires strong expertise in Java technologies, DevOps practices, GitHub-based workflows, and automation tools.

The candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and experience working in Agile development environments. Knowledge of C++ is preferred but optional.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Core Java / J2EE fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs
  • Expertise in GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong scripting skills
  • Good understanding of JVM and Linux internals
  • Experience performing code reviews and ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting Java and JavaScript applications
  • Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and development workflows
  • Support and optimize DevOps processes and deployment automation
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot build, deployment, and production issues
  • Ensure high-quality releases with a focus on zero-defect production deployments
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
