The Role:
We are seeking versatile Operations Managers to provide on-site leadership for our transportation hubs. You will be responsible for aligning staff, overseeing scheduling, and ensuring the smooth flow of ground transport operations. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to be part of a historic event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate on-site staff, ensuring all team members are positioned and performing according to the daily operational plan.
- Operational Execution: Manage real-time logistics, including shuttle arrival/departure scheduling and load-zone management.
- Communication: Act as a key point of contact for staff, reporting updates to project leadership and resolving operational bottlenecks on the fly.
- Compliance: Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and site-specific operational procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience is required; scheduling experience is highly preferred.
- Dynamic interpersonal skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, from frontline staff to project leadership.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Experience in events, transportation, or logistics is a major plus, though we welcome candidates from hospitality, retail, or service management backgrounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in a field environment.
- Availability: Must be available for 40-hour work weeks, including weekends and varying shifts throughout the tournament.
