About the Team
The Datacenter Operations team at Nutanix is dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation and management of our data center facilities. This team operates in multiple locations, including Phoenix and Reno, and is characterized by a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. The mission of the team is to maintain operational excellence while integrating new technologies into our infrastructure, making it a vital part of Nutanix's overall strategy for growth and customer satisfaction.
You will report to the Team Lead of Datacenter Operations, who values proactive communication and fosters an environment where team members are encouraged to take ownership of their work. The role is fully on-site and requires you to work approximately 40-45 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, in a fixed schedule that allows for slight adjustments once established.
This position will not include any travel or remote work opportunities.


Your Role
Monitor data center operations and check for emergent alerts through monitoring platforms.
Perform rack and stack installations, ensuring proper power and asset management.
Perform troubleshooting and in-depth repairs of hardware and hypervisor issues, following documented processes.
Facilitate communication and collaboration with the datacenter capacity team and R&D personnel.
Work within our Phoenix site through cabling, monitoring, and team building activities.
Assist as part of a team of on-site contacts for our Networking, Automation, and Capacity team

On Site: This role is based on-site, offering the opportunity to collaborate face-to-face with team members in a dynamic and engaging work environment. Being physically present allows for seamless teamwork and direct access to resources that support your success. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
