Product Architect – Pricing & Promotions

As a Product Architect for Pricing & Promotions, you’ll have a highly visible opportunity to shape how pricing and promotional strategies are translated into scalable, reliable technology solutions. You’ll help define the product roadmap, turn business goals into clear user stories, and partner with cross-functional delivery teams from design and build through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization. You’ll also contribute to Value Optimization (VO) initiatives that drive measurable results. This role collaborates closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders and reports to the Product Director for Pricing & Promotions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Pricing & Promotions solutions, enabling business and technical teams to solve problems quickly and confidently.

• Play a key role in next-generation Pricing & Rebates capabilities—from user story alignment through value realization—in partnership with business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.

• Own delivery of prioritized backlog work (features, user stories, incidents, problems, enhancements, and change requests). Translate ideas into outcomes by writing clear user stories, estimating effort, producing design documentation, demoing solutions, enabling users through training, coordinating testing, supporting change management, and partnering with engineering and stakeholders through deployment and post-launch support.

• Partner across teams as priorities evolve—jumping in where you can add the most value and help deliver shared outcomes.

• Champion Agile delivery and SDLC best practices to ensure consistent, transparent execution—collaborating closely with scrum masters, engineers, and stakeholders.

• Ensure solution designs and implementations align with security standards and architecture principles, incorporating modern data and analytics concepts where they create value.

• Drive value realization and continuous optimization after launch, ensuring we capture the full benefit of what we deliver.

• Monitor and improve service levels and delivery metrics (e.g., throughput, incident trends, estimate accuracy, and cycle time), using data to drive continuous improvement.

• Build trusted partnerships with business stakeholders and collaborate across product and engineering teams to deliver solutions that work in the real world.

What will you learn?

• Expand your skill set with hands-on ownership in new areas (e.g., support processes or development experience depending on your prior role).

• Build and deliver best-practice solutions using Agile/DevOps delivery approaches, strengthening your end-to-end product delivery toolkit.

• Stay close to industry/FMCG trends and benchmarks for emerging technologies, including vendor roadmaps and what’s next.

• You’ll also deepen your capabilities across the areas outlined above under “Responsibilities.”

What makes you a great fit?

• 5+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or external Pricing & Promotions solutions, including integrations and development experience across modules/systems.

• Knowledge of the full Order-to-Cash lifecycle in SAP S/4HANA.

• Experience providing production support for business-critical applications.

• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams (2–5 team members).

• Strong customer focus and service mindset.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
