The QA Technical Program Manager for Engineering will play a pivotal role in supporting engineering teams with their project management needs, specifically focusing on releases and QA programs. This position requires a strong background in engineering, experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), and expertise in technical aspects to effectively oversee program execution, tracking, risk management, and timeline adherence. The program manager will collaborate closely with the VP of  QA Engineering and senior management, working closely with 8-9 directors/executives and will be responsible for providing weekly reports on program progress.


Responsibilities:
• Assist engineering teams in planning and executing releases, providing guidance on QA programs and processes.
• Support the VP of QA Engineering in managing QA programs, including running existing releases and overseeing special projects.
• Utilize expertise in SDLC and QA lifecycle to ensure smooth program execution and address any issues that arise.
• Lead program management activities, including tracking milestones, identifying risks, managing dependencies, and ensuring timelines are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand and align program goals with broader organizational objectives.
• Conduct weekly meetings to review progress, address challenges, and communicate updates to senior management.
• Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment.
• Utilize tools such as Jira for running reports and building dashboards, Confluence for project documentation, and Google Sheets for presentations.


Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in engineering roles, with a focus on program management and SDLC.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and QA lifecycle.
• Experience in a technical role, with the ability to comprehend and articulate the big picture.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage programs, with proficiency in tracking, risk management, and timeline adherence.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including senior management.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid role, with onsite presence in San Jose, CA on specified days.
• Flexible with working hours to accommodate collaboration with team members in India.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.


Compensation: 90-95 Hourly W2
