- Description:
- Conduct physical inventory of equipment. Will include the following types of tasks:
- Schedule coordination with department personnel providing access to areas.
- Communication using email, phone, in person, SLACK, and Zoom.
- Preparation of barcode scanning device prior to scanning events.
- Physical sighting of equipment, verification of location and identifying details, scanning barcode and marking of assets. Requires walk-thru of various types of space including academic, administrative, labs, and storage areas. Golf cart available for transport as needed.
- Fulfilling requests for asset tags.
- May include updating asset records and other data maintenance.
- Requirements:
- Ability to physically perform activities associated with the job: walking, reaching, bending, stairs, ability to drive a golf cart, ability to use a barcode scanner, basic computer skills.
- Basic computer skills, experience using barcode scanning equipment is a plus.
- Effective communication and time management skills.
- Onsite work only; not a hybrid position
- Generally, Tuesday thru Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. AM/PM and lunch breaks included. Occasionally may be 3 days/week, as needed to support the inventory schedule.
