Our Audio Systems Engineering team develops and integrates new audio features for our products. We are a team of diverse engineers coming together to create prototypes of innovative audio technologies and guiding their implementation into our products. We work openly and collaboratively throughout our deeply-connected engineering and product development teams. We are looking for an Acoustic Technologist to help to take our products to the next level. Could this be you?

 

Key Qualifications

Experience working with audio prototyping , data collection

Experience working with microphone arrays and sound capture/reproduction

Experience working with audio analysis and debugging.

Good understanding of DSP and filtering techniques. e.g band pass filtering,, FFT analysis etc

Proficiency with acoustic measurements of speakers and microphones

Proficiency in Matlab, Python, Max-MSP tools

Understanding of physical/room acoustics is a plus

 

Description

The primary activity of the Acoustics Engineer in this role is to help with audio data collection and lab reproduction of audio scene and related activities. Candidate in this role will be working with microphone arrays for data/content capture and processing. Activities will include (but not be limited to) preprocessing, prototyping, audio data capture, prototyping in lab. Travel will be involved to various sites to capture audio data in real world scenarios.

 

Education & Experience

Most of our engineers have advanced degrees in Electrical engineering, Acoustics, Signal Processing, Electronics or an equivalent field, but if you've followed a different path to expertise in acoustics or sound quality, we still want to hear from you.
